latez bros

I used to..but you shouldn't crank it too much when they are freezing. I think it's pretty bad!

When I had subs in my car I would always take them out for the winter. When it's really cold outside just like vrsik said they could crack.

BTW, a sub and a box don't weigh enough to help you add weight to the back of your car. If you want weight, go to Reno Depot and go buy yourself 3 big bags of sand and put them in your trunk. Bad part is that your shocks will die quicker.

Ok thnx bros,

I'll remove mine this up-commin' week-end, but i feel i'm gonna miss the bass during the winter :(
hehehe
anywayz, latez

You dont need to remove them? Does the Corrado have direct access to the rear hatch from the front? If so, just wait till your car is warmed up, crank the heat and after about 10mins of driving you will be able to use them. It's more or less to protect the rubber seal around the subs cone. The cone itself isnt usually damaged by that. And as for the magnet, it wont take long to warmup, same for the rubber.

I have always left mine in without any damage. I don't crank the hell out of them all day, everyday but I do like to have music with a bit of punch.

I've never once cracked a sub, and I've had some in 5 of the 9 cars I've had to date. Would you take out the normal speakers in your car in the winter??? it's the same concept, just don't crank the volume for the first 10 minutes or so...it should be ok after that.
