hey guys just looking for some feedback
I'm thinking of getting rid of my 18 inch RH Evolutions
and going totally old school.
coilovers with a big drop and deepdish 15x8 in the front and 15x9 in the rear. You don't see this look very often in MTL and it could be very different.
what coilovers would you guys suggest ?
And does anybody know what kind of modifications have to be done (if any) to make these wheels fit ?
If someone could post the pic of my car Vw fourm page 5 topic:Golf VR6 for sale, I haven't figured out how to post pics yet

what do you guys think cool or ugly ?
Thanks

4Door...that's what I like to hear! Some good 'ol euro trash!!
Dump your 4 door on 16x9's! I'm sure everyone will agree! :D

I wouldn't call that old school! Just EURO!

You gotta gut your fenders and roll the s#it out of them. Then count your money and be ready to spend some chunky $$ on importing your rims from Germany because around here...it may be a hassle. I'm sure JAP could set you up!

Then you gotta chose your coilovers.. My brother just got AVO coilovers and they are really good.. really really good. Height and dampening adjustable too! You could also go with H&R or KW!

The thing is..with a VR, you can't super slam the car because your oil pan will "basically" rip off!

But you could get it low enough to be >>

I say go for that look also. I say whe don't see enough original looking cars around here and that's a shame. At least your car is a 4 door so there's not that much of them around. I like that look with the deep dish wheels but I've never seen them around here, they must be very expensive. Super nice car by the way. I think you have made me a VW guy now. All I need to do now is save up my money and find me a nice A2 to swap in a VR6 in it.

Old school

OLD SCHOOL thats not old school!!!!!!!!!
1960s and 1970s cars are old school!!!!!!

Or MUSCLE CARS for all the youngins!!!!!!!!

Re: Old school

Borbet have some really nice deep dish wheels and they're not so expensive vs. some other brands (Kerscher, Kinesis, ...)
But don't go with the Borbet type-r because they're mine ;)
