Looking for an UNLOCKED GSM TRIBAND MOTOROLA V80

I need some info, I talked to a Rogers Rep today, he told me the

current version of the MOTOROLA V80 doesn't support the 850 MHZ frequency. Rogers is emitting on both 850 MHZ and 1900 MHZ ranges but he told me that from now on, 850 MHZ range would offer the widest coverage nationwide....


Any truth in this or just a marketing gimmick to talk me out of buying the MOTOROLA v80 and buying one of his phones?

It is true that Rogers is expanding the 850 Mhz but you still can use Motorola V80 under 1900 Mhz. Most of my phones are use 1900 Mhz and so far I never have any bad reception so far. Montreal 1900 Mhz is good. If you need more information please PM me. Thank you very much.
 
850 mhz band makes one heck of a difference anywhere u are
it fills up the holes in the coverage provided by the 1900 mhz band
and let me tell you
1900 mhz only = second hand swiss cheese
