Paseo Owners ?!

Anyone has that car ?! My friend is looking for one but I have no idea how good it is ?! Anyone could give me feedback ?! Maybe compare with another car that would be in the same prices (Civic etc) Thanx :bigup:
 
Paseos are reliable cars ... ! but this is really not a sport car ... ! for the same price you can buy a Civic Si .... I know there's a lot of Civics on the road but .... ! If your planning to buy a Paseo and then modify it ... dont even think about it ... ! :thumbsdow
almost no swap possible and no performance parts ... my friend owns one ... and hes not very satisfied with it .. !
 
Actullay there a turbo engine thats fit bolt on for the Paseo the engine spec is 160 hp and 145 lbs torque (not sure ) it's the 4efte. And one of my friend order a body kit for ispaseo from germany really nice car.
 
I have that car.
I think it's stupid to say that this car can't be modified!
all cars can be modified!
It just cost a bit more than modifying a civic!

MY car is pretty modified(body kit, wing, sound system, wheels!)
and it's a paseo!
 
a little more effort to be original is what it takes to modify a car that doesn't have as many accessories to choose from. A paseo is a sportier version of a tercel and both have a handful of engines that are a direct swap and others with some work involved.
Paseo are japanese just like the civic and could have just as much of an impact on the scene as any other import.
 
I have a 92 Automatic Paseo for winter :) Car has 165,00kms. Runs very smooth except when I floor it I leave a trace of oil. My valve seals are the problem. The car does close to 400kms on a full tank. Its an ok car but not as fast as my 300zx :)
 
I'm sorry but the paseo is lot cheaper than a civic si!

I bought my paseo 10k and a civic si from the same year was at least 3k more!!!

and modified paseo's are nice!
I've never ever crossed a paseo modified like mine.
I'm the only one to have that body kit in Canada.
I couldn't say the same if I had a civic!!!!

I cost's a little more to modify but once it's done you can be proud of what you did!

No it's not a sport car stock....but the engine is very versatile.

with some work and mods I think this engine could easily go up to 180 HP.

at least this is my goal for winter!

ant there is also the 4efte that's a bolt on engine that makes the paseo the equal in power of a civic si!!!
 
just a quick reply about the Km on the car, twinturbopimp, the car can actually do almost 500km on a full tank, all depends on where you drive, streets, hwys, traffic.

But i will say the car is a very good car, and very reliable
I have seen some modified, and they actually look good, there was even one that i have seen a pic of a while back, lets just say, whomever i showed it to, didn't believe it was a paseo ;)

last year at the julep , there was one guy with a turbocharged paseo thats looked pretty cool .. unfortunately, i think he sold it ... does someone remember this guy or that car? it was a red car i think
