I bought a 91 jetta coupe from a friend of mine. I bought it to strip it, and keep the parts as spare for my 92. I was going to keep the body to practice body work and painting on, but I dont have the time to do it or the space to keep it. Its a German made jetta, so its not the crappy Mexican stuff that gives VW the bad name.

I was wondering if anybody would want the body and whatever I don't take out of it.

bad name. Wtf are you talking about *banghead*

How much of the shell is left over andrew? I'm looking for a Jetta coupe as a winter beater. I have an engine for it, but tell me more about the car's overall shape (or post pics?)
*tu*

its the entire shell thats left, all the fenders and everything, bumpers i'll leave, etc. there's rust on it, its not horrible though, only 1 or 2 small holes.

i'm not trying to say that volkswagen has a bad name, not at all. i love dubs! what i'm mean is that when ppl hear volkswagen, they think electrical problems, unreliability etc, but its primarily the dubs made in mexico that have those sorts of problems. the build quality is not as good as the german made vehicles.

I wish you had a photo of it...just borrow someone's digicam real quick and upload a shot or two! I'll host them if you need :) I just wanna see how much work is involved in bringing this car back to road-worthiness...
