Nah, most are a waste. I haven't seen many good ones, most import magazines are strictly promoting Honda's and Honda/Acura parts. Also, why would I care that the guy running a nine second civic, happens to have the same shift knob that I do? "... maybe I should get one of those! It'll make me go faster! He has one, and he runs a 9 sec 1/4 mile!" Nah, I say screw it. Only one I bother buying is Car Stereo Review, at least I can get info out of it. Most Import mags, basically show pictures of shows and events, and now and then show you where their project car has gotten. My "personal" opinion is that they're good for passing time waiting in line at a store. Thats it.

Even though I stated this was a personnal opinion, I know there's gonna be some loser quoting me and contradicting me saying I'm wrong. heh.. I know it's going to happen, so for that one guy -> F*CK OFF, it aint going to change the way I feel about the mag, so keep your opinions based on your own thoughts. :)
 
shut up altima , there are great mags out there , you dont know what you're talking about bla bla bla bla bla !! :)
im just kidding , i agree with you , there isnt mane good car mags ( magasines ) out there , sometime occasionnally i get sport compact car ( or steal it from sspikey ) ! dont subscribe to magasines , they could get worst by the month ! just buy each month the mag that you think is good and the mag thats gonna tell you what you wanna know on a certain car !

I got subscription to Super Street really great mag but getting thiner every month..lot of coverage..Honda tuning
last issue featured rides that the average person might own like a 90 civic hatch with a SIR and a 89 CR-X..Two great mags..I have had a Super Street subscrip for 4 years..

as for myself i subscribed to scc about 3 months ago, and i like to read them and i totally agree with you altima, they are always promoting honda/acura, but still, you can be surprised sometimes

and it's cool to receive that once a month

i discovered sport compact car and love it ! especially the december one ! I love the detail. I also bought one issue of turbo (I just needed something to read) never again. I found nothing but bad spelling and bad layout!! ANd I love the golf magazine ! worth every penny!!

I had a subscription for Super Street an Sports Compact Car for 2 years, but after a while It got really repetative. Now I only browse through them once and a while. I like MoterTrend, then Car and Driver, and Road and Track.

Playboy and CLUB they rule... then maybe i get Maxpower(eurotunner) and Superstreet just to cover the other mags when I buy them.

I duno why, but i keep ending up with these magazines of beautiful, but sadly poor girls that cant afford any clothing..??

maybe you should write in and offer some support. maybe their homeless too, and you could offer half of your bed to one of them. I think you- ... errr they would appreciate that very much. That is if they're poor. I'm only guessing they are since they can't afford clothes.
 
Magazines!?

This is probably the tottal oposit of everyone, but I like to get the mags with some domestic coverage...and I don't mean Hot Rod weekly!

I like getting the ones where you see the sport compact imports mix with the sport compact domestics!

-Sport Compact Car is getting better in that field.
-Sport Compact National.
-Performance Auto and Sound.

Those are a few a tend to look at from now and then!
