Someone want to sell me his mr2, it has 100000km and it's a 1992 turbo T-Top. The owner of the car is the owner of Houle toyota and has change everything on the car that could have go wrong and he could make special deal for reparation if anything ever go wrong.

The main problem is that he want to sell it to me for 18000$
He don't want to go down because he likes the car and it's not a priority to sell it this year.

The car has 4 17 inch mags with low profiles tires and a high performance excaust system.

He has also a custom body kit with a new red paint.
You probably saw the yellow version of the body kit at the julept of one of the car shows at monteal. It's about a 5k for those modification alone.

So do you think it's a good deal?

The main problem is that on supercars.net it say that it can only goes at 0.86G, it's not really good compare to the new sport cars.

I could afford to buy it in april or wait for the lancer evo or wrx.

It seems like a good car but the price is way to high  Like you said, the technologie is not the same in those years so think about it before you spent that kind of money on a 10 year car...

Do a search over the net to see what can u get for 18k...you'll be surprised...but hey the decision is up to you..I had a crushed one day on a TWO, but think about the money you gonna spend on that 10 years old car..even if its been baby care, you'll have to put extra money for maintenance..

Good luck.
