Thats right. I do ps2 "softmods". I call it softmods, but it's really an exploit of installing linux onto a memory card. the best part of this is I do not need to open up the ps2. I dont even need your ps2 all i need is your memory card. information is freely availible on the web, however you need a friend with a modchip. (me ;))

what you need:
Ps2 (not pstwo)
a ps1 game
a broadband adaptor
a harddrive that is compatible with the broadband adaptor
an official sony memory card

what you need to give me:
your ps1 game.
your memory card.
your harddrive (optional)
20$.

this is how it works:

It's not as good as an xbox, and it's sometimes a hassle with games, but it works. and it dosent void your warrentee.

I install linux onto your memory card. it has the code to boot the HD. (called hdloader) you run that code by booting up with a ps1 game. so....

put in the memory card, put in the ps1 game and turn on your ps2. it will boot up, flash white, then boot up into a list of all your copied games. you can edit, remove, add or play a game from here.

some games cannot copy from the ps2, and will require you to put the harddrive in your computer, and copy the .iso to the harddrive. as well, this does not defeat the copy protection on the ps2, since you cannot (i repeat) cannot play burnt dvd's. you can only play games on your HD. (a 80 gig which is about 80$, can hold between 20-45 games)

PM ME, or EMAIL ME.
