no/no
guarantee that it works when you open it up the first time.

you can always go to microbytes for a warranty. bring $300 more though

bump for a funny comment: "you can always go to microbytes for a warranty. bring $300 more though"

and bump for a nice screen

also one for sale with 2 burnt pixels
$800

btw andrew, be careful with tigerdirect, they have been known for fraud before.

regards,
Will

Prices have been falling dramatically on LCD monitors thanks to an overproduction of them by Samsung/LG-Phillips. You can easily get a 19" 16ms response for 600$ nowadays. I think you should somehow lower your price a bit especially with no warranty on them..

Tell us where then.... ???

I have bought a ton of stuff from Tiger and have always been very happy with them...

As far as 19" screens go... they are selling in the $400 range now (16MS and a 3 year warranty!!!)... do a news search on LCD prices and you will see that prices are dropping like MAD!!!

I would rather have 2 19"ers set up in a dual head display over a single 20" for the same money :)

Even Futureshop is selling 19"ers for $599 :) And we all know how overpriced they are!!!

yup....actually my advice for everyone would be to wait for christmas (boxing day-ish) to buy LCDs. just talked to a friend in the industry and there are nice surprises ahead. the next "batch" coming in will be ridiculously priced (read- everyone will want to get a 17" instead of a CRT monitor).

I'll keep this 20.1" for myself, since it's brand new, and well...I have it already :)

but if someone wants a deal on that viewsonic with 2 burnt pixels (one of the rare LCDs that does 1600x1200 or 1200x1600 by tilting the screen), then pm me. they are going for $1000+tax at microbytes (new price this morning)

regards,
Liam

In reply to boxster boy. One deal is at dell.ca, 19" monitor 1905fp, you get a free 15% off coupon on peripherals (monitors etc). Monitors regular price is 599$ + free shipping, after the coupon comes up to around 560-570$ with taxes. 20ms response time, dvi input. A good monitor overall. And Dells warratny is top notch. I would suggest listening to Veritech, monitors are falling dramatically and there should be an even bigger price fall during christmas/beginning of january.
