I don't know this one :(

I didn't believe my friend once so I put a tape recorder in the forest, sawed the bottom of a tree, attached a 2km long rope to my car and to the tree and drove away! I don't know if it made a sound cause when i got back the tree had crushed my tape recorder.

it might have crackeled and thumped, but not for sure. Maybe there was a squirrel to hear the tree crackel and thump?
