Tire 225-50-15

I have a good deal on a set of tires and I was wondering would 225-50-15 (on a 92 hatch)rub I think I could get away with it. Anyone running these, if so how low are you? Yes yes I know it's gonna play with my speedo.
 
its too large... it will rub and your car wont be stable under acceleration... keep the good old 205-50-15 size.
 
im talking search the size on honda tech... im sure people have tried it and have given info
 
my friend is driving on 205-50R15 Azenis and is dropped 2 inches in the front.......and YES the tire rubs!.......and trust me, his suspension is stiff enough!

I have 205-50-15 right now with kumho mx dropped 2.5" and they don't rub at all has he checked his toe lately?
 
225/50r15 is much too big for a street going Civic. A race Civic with high horsepower and mods to the wheel well may get away with it....but WHY? :dunno:
The limit IMO would be 225/45 r15
