i wanted to know what would be

the BEST swap....

The CHEAPEST swap....

Which swap WOULD BE Fast is swapped...


three diff answers they can be all diff...

my choices in engines would be

1. CRV block with a GSR head
2. Type-R (JDM) 2001
3. H22A

those three engines and fit those engines in those questions

the cheapest of the three, the best engine swap, and which would give me the best output (STOCK FOR STOCK) i know the crvblock and the gsr head is not stock BUT i mean nothing other then those engines no turbo nothing stock for stock...

The CHEAPEST swap.... H22A is the Cheapest... but this swap is not very popular for Street, do some search, there's many things to know that most dude here doesn't know even if THEY HAVE A CIVIC H22.

CRVblock with GSR head will make best output, but then a proper B20/Vtec built is not cheap, this will cost as much as a Type R and More!!!

i never said i wanted 1 engine to be all three.... i even stated that there would be diff answers for the diff questions..

i know that the type-r would be more expensive then the h22a

i wanted to know out of those three which is the cheapest
out of those three which would give me great results
and out of those three which would have some nice power to it.
 
they will all make nice power, just in different ways

personally, for performance i would rather the Type R or H22A then the CRVTEC... H22A for drag and Type R if you like handling

for expenses, the H22A and the CRVTEC should be around the same, it depends what kind of deals and hookups you can get

personally i'd go Type R, but its too expensive for what you get... i'd take a GSR + mods over a type R anyday

just get ready to burn through tires faster

you're car is like a lil go kart, but it's missing the go part ;) go H22 $$$ or go B16 $$;)

if you want an H22, your driving style will have to change
I'd get a b162 ;) cause it's a bolt on swap and give decent results :bigup:
 
Probaly the most potential vs money wise would be B18C1 or H22a

H22 isnt that hard..
Your car is already obd1..
You need motor mounts(HCP or HAsport) , shiftlinkage(cables) with the shifter...
Pretty straightforward swap... no major modifications...
 
actualy the swap for h22a is a bit complicated you need to stiffen suspension change axels motor mounts and so on...i've read up on it.

thanks guys for answering, i am gonna look into the crv block with gsr head or the type-r jdm...

and 95EXR yeah i know shes begging for the h22a but i've heard to many things thats making me think twice, but i'm still thinking lol...
