is the rsx type-s worth spending the extra couple grand over the base model? torque figures are almost the same. would i miss the 40 hp?
 
yes its very much worth it.


i've owned both so i can tell you for sure. its night and day
 
ya pas juste la tranny, la le VTECH sur l'exhaust ca fait une vraie diff. car il kik come les v tec de series b. Plus mais si tu ne veux pas payer, garde le 5 k$$ pis achete une tete de type s avec le cpu pis le filage pis bingo Type S engine.

Peak torque figures are the same, but look at the torque curve.

The Type-S makes torque till 8k RPM, whereas the base dies off at 6k RPM.

I personally would not consider the base model. Get a used Prelude or Type-R if money is an issue.
