need feedback: kyb gr2 on mk3

thats the exact same suspension im riding right now. up to now i have no complaints on it.
 
i would advise against kyb on dubs, for some reason, everytime we sold some to customers with dubs or bimmers, they came back with the shock blown shortly after :dunno: guess they aren't engineered right for euro cars...

so we stopped recommending it altogether for euro's

they are meant to be stockish in feel
not a good match with eibach's IMO

GET BILSTEIN's!!! or koni, not gr2 garbage, AT LEAST gas-a-just at minimum, but even at that, i wouldn't trust a product with such a corny name, lol

eibach are great, but the drop is mediocre... you sure this is the way you wanna go? it makes sense if you wanna keep driving it winters...

the kyb's on the dub were installed in early october and up to now, no problems at all. the main reason why my pops got those instead of bilsteins or koni is cauz he didnt want a ''stiffer'' ride :( .
 
meh i have the hyundai for winters now (hopefully)
i find a 2.0" drop too much for winter anyway, but its fine for summer
i was thinking about h&r race, but not enough of a drop

i figured they gave a stockish feel, just wanted to know if the quality was good

bilstein would cost me about 320+shipping and duties

anyways, thanks for the tip
 
We stopped using KYB about 8 years ago...they don't last and when you take them out of the box and they are leaking you know you will have problems!
 
i have kyb's all around with neuspeed springs, front is good, but the rear seems kinda rough. Not gentle in the back at all.
