Vw mk4 1.8T (audi also welcome)

What is your rpm

@100km/h

@120km/h

@140km/h


i'm doing a little research on the engine/tranny. also please state if you have any mods and what kind of car.

thanx in advance
 
100km/h about 3000RPM
120km/h about 3200RPM
140km/h about 3800RPM

not really any engine mods for now only forged DV and CAI, not chipped

it's a 1.8T?? wow my 2L does the same rpm that sux i though it would be more economical.... it's a 5 speed right?

i wonder what a 6 speed does and what an auto does.

it is pretty economical but still revs high compared to some other cars
yes its a 1.8T 5spd
 
damn it's a 1.8 more economical then a 2.0 and plus yo have alot more power and the gearing ratios make it even more econo.

i really like... so who wants to buy my 2.0 :p
 
I checked again and made some mods to my original post, the RPMs are a little less then first posted
 
alright thanx.... but still i'm @ about 4150 @140 ... so big dif in the engine noise too

so ya i'm gonna rip all my candy off this jetta and looking into buying a 1.8T
 
bone stock
3000rpm at 100 km
3500 rpm at 120
burning 7.8 l per 100 km

2500 at 100 km at 6speed
3000 at 120 at 6 speed
burning 6.4l per 100 km
