talking about my 2000 Getta 2.0l 8v, 125 xxx km, manual, black, tan cloth interrior, JBL speakers in front (both 6" and tweeter), lightning audio in the back (both 6" and the tweeter, pioneer head unit (mp3), AEM CAI, and optional subbs (either 2 10" kicker comp or 1 12" kicker compVR, with alpine class-d 700w amp, 350 rms), mags (SPYN autobahn), 20 ae headlights, FK badgeless grill, smoke bumper sidemarker, 2 sets of tails ( OEM and carbon style), tt antenna replica, new windshield, with towing pin to pull my ATV (used 3 times, dont like to use it)
so dubbers how much could i get for it??

i would guess probably about 10K but you should part out any of your mods cause they really don't add much value for the resale and you can do better just selling them separately

i wish, no maybe the 1987 VR6, its ****ing hot, but only if the guy wants to trade and gimme some cash also
but the 1.8t A4 would be hot but i got no money for that pimp car, and if i trade for the VR6 i will be able to afford the insurance and gas and also just the car itself, mine is ok, but my daddy bought me the car and i modded it with all my money so i am broke :(

id keep your car over an 87 vr6, but that is just me, you can ride with style, and performance shouldn't be an prime importance.

you guys are out of your minds, if you had a budget of 11k, would you rather buy my car, or by the 87 and still have like 3 o 4k left over??

Though I would be tempted to get the VR6, I wouldn't want a car that was already all modified body wise. I would look for a CLEAN one that looks as stock as possible, un molested, but with the swap already done. Cars with skirts and all of that may look good on the outside, but you never know who did what and a year later the body looks like shit.

Don't mean to burst any bubbles! I'm just saying, if you're going to sell your relatively new car for an older one, make sure you get a clean one that is in good shape! *tu*

selling a 2000 car to buy a 1987 just sounds plain silly... even if its a VR6 and its f'n hot.

Well, dunno about that. Some people are not concerned with being seen in a brand new car, or don't care too much about the image. An MK2 is a BLAST to drive compared to an MK2, and even without a VR6. IMO.

my thoughts exactly, i really dont care about the year or image of the car, as long as i like it every one else can go *F* themselves, and its a VR6 so it performs better, but they both have their ups and downs, old, new, vr6, not vr6, heavy, light, 2 door, 4 door, black silver, airbags, no airbags, just the airbags makes a big difference, and abs and non-abs, thos 2 options alone are what make my car better, and the fact that it is personalized, but time for change has come and i'd like to go oldschool, the 87 VR6 needs spacers to give it a wider look, hehe
if not mine will be getting some facelift soon.....

Someone else that sounds like my mommy *fag*

Not everyone is looking for speed in an car, bmw 320's, a4 1.8t's and the c230 from mercedes wouldn't be selling compared to so much faster cars outhere for that price range. To prove my point, is id' rather have an newer, great looking car than an faster but older body. In his shoes, id keep his car, and the fact that he also invested some g's in modding it makes the decision even easier. Or the best would be to wait and buy an used vr6 when he has the money or an swap in his car. Selling it right now won't bring him much and he will lose so much out of the deal.

I'm with epunk on this one
i am with both of you, doesn`t make much sense
Try selling that 87 VR is a couple of years, you won`t get sh*t, but your 2000 will still be worth something in a couple years
