1.8T Boost Control System
Application: VWs with 1.8T motor.
The 1.8TBCS (Boost Control System) allows the user to increase boost without ECU re-programming. Boost can be varied from 6 to 14.5 psi with performance gains as measured at the wheels of 35 hp and 43 ft-lbs. The boost gauge has a ten segment, three-color LED display that reads in 1.5 psi increments from 1 to 14.5 psi. Installation time is about 1 hour.

i had a mamual boost controller was great for my car but u need to get chipped if u want to run something like that cause boosting ur turbo and not changing ur ecu setting can cuse damage to the motor, i suggest u get chipped and then you put MBC

well chipped with my manual boost controller i was running 21 psi all summer and turbo is like new

you will see spikes of 21psi and thats about it. Not meant for over 15psi, anything over is way out of efficiency range. but there cheap and make power so that's why so many people are overboosting these little guys.

c<est vraie l<entrer d'air du turbo est trop petite, 16,17 max c bien assez si tu veut plus, change le turbo

you can hold up to 17 psi and pikes at 21 psi
thanks guys seemed interested because it was cheap but forget now

the boost controler should be used if you were chipped and you were hitting limp ot if you want more boost...but other than that...not worth it....

I have a mbc lying around if you ever wanna try it
