OKOK...summer is coming..and for the first year since I baught the car, I think that the dub is gonna be ready (at my taste) for the first hot days....
Isnt that awesome.
All I need now is euro bumpers, window tint (I got black leather now) and a good compound.
I had to let this out, feel better now.
where's your dub at, for summer?

WOW! I need a bumper like that too...! Looks like snow will neva melt down...

In April, my Coco will get:

New 2001 VR6 Block will replace the old 95 block.. keepin' OBD1 intake for da sound and since it's less trouble to swap.

Also brand new exhaust : straight 2''1/2 stainless from Dual cat to Borla or Magnaflow muffler (didn't decided yet)

Rear brakes has to be replaced... (Brembo slotted w/hawks Pads)

Some clutch master and slave replaced, body-kit fixing... pait touch-up, then a good compound and that's ready for the summer!

Will have to sell the Passat to get all this done togehter... can't wait for summer to come down!
 
can't wait for summer... but have to repaint my bumper and get some new tires... :( ... $$$
 
I will have to respray a couple of things too..
Hey...maybe we can get a deal on this at a bodyshop?

i too could be down, i have 2 maybe 3 others that need so stufff painted,

My plans for this summer are new rims, euro lip, strut tower brace and other goddies
 
I have some rust removal to do and what's best if I want to keep the colour but get rid of some deep scratches and what not?
I'm up for a group buy thing lol.
And other things waiting - my new 17s need to be wrapped, I'll prolly get some proxe 4s if I have some extra cash. I'm gonna get some lowering springs, as a temporary fix, to drop my car for the summer. Then I'm saving up for a swap, either vr or 1.8T. Thus why I can't do a full paint job, I like the black though... yumm...

No need to work up a project... the crowd on tuesday's isn't really about showing off. if you're planning on showing off a booming sound system, please show up thursday instead.

ps. my car isn't ready and I couldn't care less. :cry: I've got only about half of what I want to get done finished. Here's the Chip Foose sketch of what it'll eventually look like:

My car is no were near ready for anything, but im gonna ride it out, and hope for the best.

slow vw ..... at all, aint planning no sound system show offing and shit .... i want to souped up a nice vdub and chill at julep ... see peoples ride ... u know .... just something slick .... aint an honda ... dont need 20k to make it look sick .... i mean i will work onmy project to be there and have a nice looking ride ..... kna mean ??? :)
