I've been riding for a couple of years now and i still learning how to wheelie. How's the safest way to wheelie .? how do you usually pop up your wheelies .? I got a 1000 for 3 years and to tell you the true, i am still scared of that bike. Need some advices.... :D

There's no magic sollution to poping a wheelie . You have to practice, practice, practice . With a 1000 you shouldn't have too much problems taking the wheel off the ground . Be sure to keep your foot ready on the back brake cause 1000's have mad power and can be twitchy when not used to them on a wheelie .

This might sound rediculous but I find riding alone doesnt help cause your more scared of dropping, getting hurt, and nobody to help you. I've been riding for two years and last year I couldnt get my wheel very high cause I always used to pratice alone. Pratice with friends and you'll pick up much faster.

I got pissed that a buddy who started riding same time as me got them going while my bike was impounded for a month, got the bike back and just tried every chance I got, now I ride em out forever, BP is a major issue when wheelieing.

Pull up the front wheel is not a problem ...it is really to keep it up that it is hard.....A lot of people told me that do wheelies with clutch its more safer ( i really like the sound )....

depends on the person learning. Persoanlly, I started out clutching my wheelies when half my friends powered them up, and its not that i couldnt power it up, I just dont like the feel when im sitting down.

So for me, sit downs, I clutch it
stand ups, I just power it up

I think powering them up is better then clutching. Clutching them can get you up way faster then you are prepared for it. Keep you rear brake covered and you should be fine. With a 1000, I would not wheelie in first gear till you get really used to it.
