Est-ce que quelqu'un connait un moyen pour "peinturer" les petits inserts de tapis qui se trouvent souvent dans les portes d'auto ?

Does anybody know how to paint the cloth inserts that you find inside the car doors ?

i don't think that's possible...what you gotta do is unasemble the door panel...

then you have some sort of glue'd part to it that you need to somehow undo witha heat gun...then place a new tissue...you can also just buy type-r panels instead of all the pain of the crap...i tried just removing the cloth and painting = sand paper any color you want

Damn, I was sure I heard somewhere that I could paint it with some sort of vinyl painting

You can simply use RIT dye for less than $2 a pack from Wal-Mart, Dollarama, Giant Tiger etc. I used 7 packs to dye all of my carpet inside from greenish-grey to black. One pack fills up about one spray bottle that you spray on the cloth, than vacuume it out, or wipe off the excess with towels, then let it dry. No need to take anything apart from your door. This stuff is capable of slightly dying the plastic/vinyl too, so If you don't want that colored, either tape it or put a light coat of vaseline on the parts you don't want dyed.

thanks alot guys ! I'll just wait to get my seats to get the right color.

I have to admit though, I'm scared of doing a half-assed job and screwing up my interior, but thats just me :)
