Je suis à la recherche d'une shop qui pourrais faire un port and polish sur un focus zetec dans le coin de montreal.. je sais qu'il y a tkrace à st-eustache... ???

oui, y'a TK Race Heads a St-Eustache.
n'importe quel bozo dans un garage ou une shop de moteur vas te dire qu'il peut te faire une bonne job de porting... mais en réalité cest pas tout a fait vrai.
Une bonne job de tete ca coute TRES cher et y'a vraiment pas bcp de personnes qui vont te faire une vrai bonne job professionnelle.
Amene ca a un vrai "head porter" et paye.
J'ai entendu que du bien de Tom, mais j'ai aucune expériance.

TK heads
TK Race heads is not about hype. He is the real thing*tu* .
Most of the fast GTU and Touring cars racing in Quebec have his work done. Some engines are mildly modified but have a TK head...and they perform.
The only people who have negative comments about TK are those who can'T/will not afford his work*byewhore* . And when asked to elaborate.....nothing is said.
Everyone who has his work in the car is SATISFIED:bigup: .
He does specialized work too. The Ztec head can be done by Tom for sure.
call him at 450 472 0676 ext 306 and see what he has to say.
BTW, Poudrier had a good reputation in the days...but I hear the wait is long.

Richard Proudrier a encore une tres bonne réputation ici et au Etat ( demander a Ray Barton)
oui le temp d'attente est présentement de 40 jours
mais la performance est la.
et comme Richard dit tu port pas une tête par stage tu port la tête en fonction du besoin du client.

i deleted a post in the car tuning 101 thread from RACEHEADS
first of all cause it was a bit too aggresive but it was saying lots of interesting things about it

the bs about nhra record that weren't "really" won by him , story with some cfm lost on a nova head , from what ive heard he blew a hole in the casting and lost 20cfm ...
all these story scares the hell outta me to be honest ... it's good for you that you had good experience with it . your engine is running and are happy
as far as im concerned , i prefer sending my engine/head to people i trust @ 100% , id rather buy peace for 100$ then have trouble sleeping cause im afraid something is not right

Funny He said You never even ported a head when you where working for him
you use to hone blocks and do work for him around the shop

Now here is what he said about Poudrier he did a couple of heads for me back in the days he isn't the best head porter in the world but at least he knows wath he is doing and he really has an NHRA certificate with is name on it.

Pour tes propos que Ray a supposément dit de Tom , tu les a surement inventé et ça c'est trés mauvais .....*bsflag* . Ray a enseigner a Tom comment porté des Tete de moteur , ensuite c'est Tom qui a pris la releve du Head porting chez Ray Barton Une autre preuve que se que tu a écrit est de la *bsflag* Tom et Ray se sont rencontré au Keystone National vla meme pas 6 ans . il y a une grosse différence entre 13 years or so et a peine 6 ans !!!!! .
