Where to start?
I will have to start tuning the volvo soon and i would like to know where to start?
First, stock the car has a maf, 5X350cc injectors and a small 14b turbo.
Now, it will have the stock maf, 5X650cc injectors and a big t4(special blend), plus an smt6 piggy back.
The smt6 has boost, extra injectors, fuel signal, timing, etc etc possible with it.
I was thinking of backing up the timing to a conservative 5deg for starters with the cas, and cutting the fuel signal by about 30%. Then see how it goes, and tune it while i am driving.
Any good suggestions on how to tune a car so it dosn't go kaboom.

I will be running about 10psi of boost to brake it in with the new forged pistons.


I just want an idea on what kind of tweeking the computer will accept and how to monitor the fuel and stuff..

Once it run's nice, i will have to go on the dyno with it and get the wideband to even out the fuel, then use the dyno to tune the timing.


BTW.... it seems that volvos have adjustable cam gears stock!!!!!!!!! Krazy!!!
