I dont trust haynes for building engines... i would go with helms and nothing less
also, i recommend you work with a rod bolt stretch gauge rather then a torque wrench, all that torquiing and un-torquing can cause your bolts to stretch and to torque down poorly. a stretch gauge makes sure that you always have the right stretch on your bolt. im sure your awesome haynes manual doesnt say anything about that...
when torquing bolts, in from best to worst this is the order at which they are most accuarte
Bolt Stretch > Torque to Angle > Torque
