I've got a cuz that lives in Ottawa. She would have no problem if I put my bike in her name and plated it, I could then insure myself here and ride it. I'd have to pay my quebec liscnce, and Ont registration plus quebec insurance.

Would this be one way of doin git, or am I out to lunch?

I' getting married in Oct, I just bought a house, and if I've got to pay $1000 to register my bike, I won't be riding, that's for sure.

Plus, my bike will be 3 years old next year, with over 10,000 and it's not an expensive bike. Those who have the cash to register a bike will have enough to buy brand new bikes and won't be looking at the used market, I think...

Well, my cousin does, so if I put the bike in her name, and she registers it(I'll pay of course) then I can "borrow" it when ever I want?

if the bike is plated in ontarion you ll have to take insurance for the bike in ontarion ( insurance is a lot more expensive ) so you will not save one penny...

Really. My insurance would have to double to not be worth it. I ride a "standard" bike, not a sport bike. Do you HAVE to insure in Ont.?
