my buddy and me went to Ottawa on Thursday to check out some bike drag races. Not too bad. The fun part was on the way back. We left downtown Ottawa and headed back to the 401, but we missed our exit and took the back roads. It was around 11:30 pm.

It was dark as hell... N- E wayz, we did downtown Ottawa to St-Jean Blvd in about 45 minutes..... Best high speed run I ever did. Our average speed was at least 205km/h.. ( on average )

Might not impress some of you boyz and girlz.... but I had a blast..

Just a little storie I wanted to share :p

N-e one do anything similar.. curious

An average of 205 is impressive.

Yeah, this is quick. When I came back from Ottawa (In car) we did the same run in 1 hour and a half!

on the speedometer!

which must result on a average of 140-150km/h in real time!

205 d'average de nuit ds les back road!
ca s'est brillant *banghead* Dsl!

lol...yes...this is BS

over 200 kms in 0.75 hrs...

average = 267 kmh roughly at LEAST...

what kind of bike?

lol...I know you did it fast....but 45 minutes is a LITTLE overdoing it :)

That too at night.

Just want to add my 2 cents :p ... If he managed that speed with a bike, he had to put gas to do 200km ;) ... So 45 minutes for a 200km run + stop for gas, hell of a fast time "on a dark road" :p

I think I was there with you and one otjher bike (GSX-R 750 andf a CBR 1000 plus my R1) and we did st-jean's to Woodruff ave. in 1 hour and 13min....still fast but not that fast.

we would hit 220-270 km/hr ( on the highway) and stay above 160 to 230km/hr in the back roads, thats no bullshit....

I might be wrong on the time, but it was under an hour for sure.....
we went trhough a couple of small towns and cruised at 100km/h and opened it up once we hit the fields.
Mind you that the back roads where long curves. And there wasn't any twisties at all.
N -Ew wayz, didn't mean too get some people all worked up, just wanted to share a little bike story

yes yes, i think about it right now, if you where even to do a rough calculation, i don't think our average speed was 200 km/h, but over 175 for sure

Seriously, I don't want to be a pain but i'm wondering, if I open my 05 750 gixxer from 160 to 230 all the time, I manage less than 200km for sure, (I don't drive at 160-230 for 40-45 minutes anyway and I barely do 200km, can do ~250-260km when driving slowwwwww) have you stopped for gas???

You can do 200km+ with the reserve at 200km/h+ for at least 40min : trust me :D

si tu tiens a ton permis : je te conseille pas!

200+km/h pendant 30min te fait parcourir au moins 100km (crime chu fort en math :p ) donc plusieurs chance de croisé/doublé une police! :~
