Saturday was a beautiful day...
10:00am
Decided to go take a little ride in the US... Went to the Moore's point customs, we were 3 bikes and 2 bikes were in front of us... After a ~10 minutes wait, we arrived near the "control point" where a "extra" guy came out of the office and shooted "Get your id's please and one bike at a time"... The two customs bike in front of us were there for 4-5 minutes we were thinking "damn, they'll be pain in the ass"... My friend went first, we had brang our passport, he's been asked "Is that your bike?", my friend answered "Yup", the customs agent asked us "Are you all three together", we said "Yes", he just opened our passport and say "OK, have a nice day", not even asking if we were canadian, how long we were going or even WHERE we were going! CoOl!
We headed the 276 until we crossed the 9. We took the 9 south direction to the 9N were you have some nice curves but I must add, high speed curves to have some fun. (There's a exit for road 9N from highway 87 if you prefer)...
We had lunch in a pizzeria called "The fire fighter pizzeria", was very good...
Headed for the 17 where there are VERY nice low speed curves, we saw at least 50-60 bikes in a 25-30 kilometers run, most of them wearing full-suits. Maxpat said this road was slippery, haven't "seen" or experienced that the road was slippery and the pavement was just excellent. Got lost a bit on the way back, got on road 2 but got f*cked taking road 2a (them, they have 2, 2a, 2n, east, west), anyway, came back in Canada by the Lacolle borders, the girl at the customs asked "Vous êtes ensemble?", the first guy said "Oui", she asked only one question "Rapportez-vous quelque chose", I was the third of the group, she put her head out of the window and yell at me "RAPPORTES-TU QUEQUE CHOSE", I answer "Non", she said "OK, rebienvenu chez vous!" "CoOl again!"...
While we are driving on a road that takes us behind the Napierville dragway track, I was now the second of the group and the last guy was on his peg but there's a SQ behind him and he didn't knew she was there... We thought he would arrest us just to "check" but somebody cross in front of us, we avoid the accident and a old man wave at the police and the SQ stopped. We arrived at Napierville and it was "late", my friend decided to take the 132... We merge onto the 132 and open it until (no more than 220-225) we come close to a few cars then we slow down... When there's no more cars, we re-open it (still not more than 220-225) and then we slow down to ~135 and guess what, we see "far far away", a SQ car with the lights on
We move to the right, the SQ passes us and to our surprise, with the 2 kids and the old man! That means that... He was behind us (ok not too close but still), and he was seeing us going up to ~220km and then slowing down... Hehehe. Then, my friend decided to follow the SQ from a "good distance" until we cross highway 30...
~6:30pm
Ended up we made 565km (3 tanks) saturday wich was more than enough!
I should have written this post in french, too late! Long enough message? Have you read the whole message lolll!
