He says he is just as fast as a Suzuki GSXR 600.

Could this be?

He has an aftermarket exhaust, header, ecu, and a few more things.

I've got some doubt about that but it's possible but...

approximative stock numbers:
GSX-R600 2005 -- 10.7s 1/4 mile
SV650S -- 11.9s 1/4 mile ...

1.2s is not easy to reach but everything is possible ya know :p
 
wel since the rider make a great part of the equation maybe!

but for a same rider the gsx-r will be faster!

full exhaust and PCIII doesn't bring the hp of a SV650 near a gsx-r!

There's different way of thinking:
yes i could eat a gsx-r at lunch with is sv in the twisties!
I can't follow one of my friend which had a sv650 before

As fast: maybe, as powerfull: never!

exhaust and PCIII isn't "modification" in my book :eek:
 
lol but seriously... if your brother is an experienced rider, he may beat me in the twisties. But on it's gonna take more than a full exhaust and stuff to follow me on the highway / straight roads.
