I've had just about enough with my squeaky clutch. So im sitting here in my garage. (my dad and i drilled the garage ceiling to get internet in the garage) and im not coming out till my clutch is quiet.

Im drivign down the street, Vrroom- SQUEAK!-Vroomm.... *frustrate

Ive taken a few pics of where the sound is coming from. Im not too good with the names so bare with me.

Its the in the boot, the clutch slave i think. Where some balljoint is...

i would personally replace it with a new or used on in better condition then yours

ive never taken apart a slave cylinder so i dont know how you could fix that internally, but i think it would be better to get a new one then to fiddle with yours... that is unless its the actual boot which is sqeeking, which i higly doubt

EDIT: did you lube inside the boot at all? i would probably do that and nothing more

call chassel!

brand new, im going to honda later today i can get you a price if you want

just lubing won't do much. You have to pull the "ball joint" out of the plate it pushes, by pushing it into the cylinder. Then you'll see the surface were the friction is. A good thing to do is to clean both the hole and the "ball" with a piece of sand paper to get all the rust and shit that got there. When everything is clean as hell, put some grease (bearing or caliper grease will do the trick) on both parts to make it like brand new. Now, when you're done, just put the "ball" where it was. When you'll first press the clutch, it'll go straight to the floor. If it stays there, pull back on the pedal and press it again. Repeat until it's hard and you feel the clutch is working properly. Voila!!

most of the times its not the master \ slave cylinders... it could be ur clutch diaprahm.... ive changed my clutch + master and slave cylinders when i was doing my clutch job and it still squeaks... mind you im using a stage 1 clutch but yes it squeaks a bit, its normal.... but if bothers you that much id start by replacing clutch fluid -> slave -> master, get rebuilt cylinders does the same shit and half the price

good luck!
