removing front bumper cover

my grandma hit a pole, and her front bumper is messed, so im going to junk yard to get one and put the new one on this weekend...

its a 1998 cavalier 4 door.

does anyone have a step by step on how remove the front bumper cover?

this would save me alot of time. thx

The best step by step we could give you, is to remove everything in your path to actually get that bumper off. The first time i took off a front bumper, i didn't knew how it could be done, but i removed everything attached to it and it went good. Don't worry if you don't have instructions, it's really easy, and you don't need a lot of tools to do that kind of job. If you have any doubts about what to remove, just pull on the bumper where you think there is a bolt. If anything needs to be removed, it won't move at all. If there is no bolt, the plastic bumper will bend a little or move, so you'll see quite fast how to do it. Be confident, it's the key.
