lol need help... I feel like an idiot

Ok so here's the situation

I own an Accord 97 LX, 4 door

I lost the pin the locks/unlocks the door "IN" the door. It kinda fell in...

Now whatever, it was only one of the back doors so I didn't really care, and it was locked.

Now I sent my car to get some body work done, but they had to unlock the door so they used the other pin to do it.

Now when I got my car back, both doors where unlocked so I wanted to lock my doors, so I locked one, took off the pin to lock the other one, did so, but now I can't (nor can anyone that's tried on my car) put the pin back in, therefore I CAN'T UNLOCK either of my back doors.

It's really getting annoying

Do you guys have tricks on how I can get these pins back in???

or at least if someone knows how I can take off my door panel from the inside without opening the door that would be awesome

Is there any plastic cover or handle you can remove? If yes, you can try to remove it and play with the rods inside the door. Also, try with a "slim jim" kit, it could help.......

yeah maybe but I don't think it will help... but I'll try that anyways, it may work

I don't understand what fell, but if you take off your door skin or trim you should be able to work on it!

don't think I can with the doors open

does anyone have a solution?

you may as well try taking the whole skin off.. usuaully there's just a couple of screws, and the rest around the edges are plastic pop-in rivets... there should be a couple aroudn the middle, and one in the handle to close the door.. i cant suggest anything else other than a slim jim.

Erik, Open the door take the door panel off. Get the peice then fix it

that's the whole idea... the problem is opening the door lol

lol god damnit bring it over to my place and lets have a go at it, I wont even charge you for anything i just want to gain experiance lol
