i have this shift knob that i wanna install on my civic.
i took out the original knob and try to install the new one. the new seems too big for my shifter shaft. the hole is too large for the shaft.
in the box it says it's univeral shift knob and if necessary, use the adapter to fit it.

and this is the adapter

i dunno wtf to do with this lil things. any help? :dunno:

First unscrew the bottom part of the shifter, slide is onto the rod. You should see 4 holes for the screws to go in once the bottom end if off, then simply slide the shifter on the rod and then tighten each little screw little by little with the allen key. Make sure you try and tighten evenly so the the shifter is tightly fastened with the 4 screws, its really easy, takes max 5 minutes
