I dont understand i just put a new themistat in the car the temp gauge is reading fine but i dont have any heat in the car just blows cold air i just looked out side to make sure the wire did not come of to adjust the hot too cold but thats fine and working too.. but when i bought this car there wasa bad rad and i think they put stop leak i tryed flushing everything but still no heat...

any clues?

all the hoses get hot or warm just no heat yeah everything is full i been messing with it for a week put preasur washer in all the holes

heater core must be blocked disconect both hoses leading into your heater core "on firewall" put a hose in one side with water and watch the crap come out the outer then do the same on the other tube*tu*

ok i just bought a brand new themistat and when i put it in my bottom rad hose is still cold and the tempure gauge went up too the hot..

iam just not sure now its the rad or the rad core........... ARG!!

I add the same probleme with my accord, my 2 problems wher...
I played so much with the switch (cold/hot) that the cable just came off the "clamp" so I wasn't moving the "flaps", but only the cable... hard to explain... but if you see it move under the hood, it's not the problem!

the other thing was that when I was puting it to hot, the cable wasn't ajusted well, the cable wasn't pushing the "flap" far anough so I always add cold air coming in...

if your curious about that you need to remove your center console and folow the cable from your cold/hot switch and see if the "bracket" sems to fonction well...

hich... sorry for my poor english!

yah my cable is off right now but its set too the hot*frustrate

it could be the rad iam thinking.... becouse when i add a themistat it goes up on the hot and the bottom rad hose is cold *frustrate
