You can put anything into anything. However, one of the reason I liked my Scirocco so much was the agile handling. I doubt if it would be as agile with a VR6. Fast yes, agile no.

QFT *tu*

I think if it were strictly a quarter mile car ok....but it ruins the image of a rocco "light, manuverable, and agile" you basically have a bullet(cool for strips because you basicaly point and shoot forward (no cornering involved) but then again most people dont drive true strip cars on the street. not to mention rocco's are famous for ripping from the stress of a 16v now a vr that would have soem fun on chassis flex. It's your car but personaly it is like putting a body kit on a swallow tail rabbit, why would you? Don't take any offence to that I liked your car on the de wheels that was a good mix of new and old but a vr in a rocco*banghead*

before speaking

can someone does actually got weight number for vr6 and 16v turbo?
I guess the difference isnt a lot more than putting the battery into trunk

And I'm certain with the right suspension handling can be very good
*edit*
someone on vwquebec.ca said vr6 are 80lbs more than 4 cyl which I think can be true

if its true, then add the weight of a turbo kit on the 4 cyl and you not far from the same weight

PLUS youre miles behind for the exhaust tone

I say go for the 6cyl dude!especially if its a project
