i was driving all day in this winter storm...i can't believe how amazing this car is!!! i got bald summer tires on it and i was passing everyone with no problem, i saw a brand new 530 spinning out all over st-johns and losing control, i just flew by him with no problem...he musta been like "daaamn screw the badge i'm going for the better car next time" audi's quattro system is really something to look forward to in this country, it's simply amazing! i can't wait to get my winter tires on....i can imagine how amazing it will be!
 
^ i'm not saying i was driving wreckless...i was able to take off without my tires spinning and losing control

Okay. because from the sound of it it was like : "I have bald tires and I'm king of the road" ...

THANK YOU FOR POINTING IT OUT!!!!! Most ppl with 4WD think they're car is an all around better car in the winter because it's 4wd.. NOT THE CASE!! you can take off more easily and for VERY GOOD drivers ONLY, turn better.. But in general, it makes the driver more dangerous.. my $0.02
 
I was suprised to see how easy it is to break the rear end away with our new 4motion passat. (Fun, Fun, Fun):D

Again, This car with 4 new winter tires takes off as if others were standing still... but only stops as well as any other.

AS for driving your car with bald tires...
Wait until you have an accident and the insurance finds out, you won't have to worry about which car to buy in the spring. It will be an Hyundai Accent.

People seem to think that AWD makes them brake better. No matter what your drive wheels are your braking will be the same. Breaking depeds on the type of brakes (disc or drum), the size of brakes, ABS, electronic brake force distibution, suspention, and the weight of the car. If anything having AWD will make your braking worse because it will add weight to your car.

an A8 just went straight through his own lawn with like a fot of snow and no problem, he just wizzed by and it was fun/funny to see the tire marks when i pulled in lol
quattro owns, but yet the type-s can nevaa loose!

Sounds like you're jealous.

EVERY car needs winter tires.. period.

As for Quattro, TorSen system is the best AWD and that's all we'll drive
