VAG tool questions?

I want to buy a "VAG-tool" for my car. I already have a Revo SPS-3 switching device (I've heard it's possible tu use it with a special cable!?). Can someone link me to a Canadian (preferably Qc!) store where I could buy the cable and the software!!

I'm a real novice concerning vag...so I buy the cable (btw :is usb recommended?? ) and then I can download the software from a web site??
