i got a 95 golf 1.8 5 speed cl, 2 door.

my problem is i can't disarm the factory alarm or what ever it is, i unlock the doors with the key and it goes off down the road, i do it over and over it keeps going off, it has never worked befor till today, i have already snapped and ripped out the horn so all i need is to figure out how to permanatly disable it cause right now the hazards flash and it's getting on my nervs.

i don't know if there is a fuse or a box i can pull or something i can shoot but if any of you guys know anything that will help me in this potencialy fatal{for the car} situation it would be great.

thanks.

You can remove the factory alarm module and jump the immobilizer. I did it on my old Golf although I forget which pins you have to jump. I'll try and find my bentley...

oh boy rico and a vw. now the fun starts. well I must say welcome to the (not always) wonderful world of volkswagen.

very helpfull frank.lol

it seems to have fixed itself for the time being, but i still need to find out how to disable it on a perm basis.

disable factory alarm

unplug the white/red wire connector that is connected in the red plastic clip in the lower right corner of the fuse/relay box. After that, you'll have to bypass the signal to the starter. The way to do this is to find the black connector with two big wire, one is red and the other is red/black and you disconnect it and put a 30A fuse in the female side of the connector. The car will start and the alarm will be disable.
