nice xscream ... now bring this bitch up to 250 torque :p

TDI's are great and i also heard that chanching the injectors for the euro one, will give you more power and even give you better economy .. true that ??

more power for sure. With the injectors, fuel pump and custom unitronic chip i should be able to go to 130WHP and a massive 275lbs of torque at the wheels. After that time for a bigger turbo and front mount cooler for 150WHP and 300lbs of torque !!!

With just the chip consumption is the same if you drive slow. with pump and injectors it's just a bit less economic.

gotta love TDI with the price of gas. Used to do 300km on a tank with my VR6 and now 1000Km on the same tank !!!

With a few mods you can get mad tourque.

Theres a forum for tdi owners cant remember the name but something like www.tdiadmiration.com some people here know about it and it has been mentioned in several posts in the past.

some North America TDIs are 90hp and 110hp.
90hp > .184 injectors
110hp > 0.205 injectors
150hp > .216 injectors

Now the injectors are interchangeable between the 90, 110, and 150hp engine from the 5 cylinder multivan.

so you get some .216 injectors and there you go, you're rocking 150hp. In order to keep up with the load, you will need a bigger fuel pump. and a vag-com to fine tune it.

some guy on MR has a setup, 180hp and 360lb/ft. running on veggy oil.

your shopping list to achieve his performance is as follow:
- rocketchip stage 3
- fuel pump (not sure which one)
- .216 injectors
- rosstech vag-com

as for clutches, you could use any clutch that fits on a VR6
