If you guys know anyone that has one and would be willing to sell it at a reasonnable price, let me know please  I'm having a really hard time finding one in good shape (body and frame) I could care less if the turbo is clogged or anything. I just want a good body and frame, plus a running engine. If you do find one with a so-so body, let me know and I could always try to find a body and do a swap. A standard one would be even better (really rare);) Thanks!!

P.S.: For those that don't know, these vans are the best sleeper. Check this out: http://www.turbominivan.com

You may have to go a distance to find one that old in decent condition. As you already may know anyone that had one usually drove it into the ground and you can bet that anyone who still owns one as a daily driver today would probably not spend any money on an ad to sell it.

I can truly appreciate the sleeper effect of this van though. My father bought one brand new in 89. It was a Caravan SE 2.5l turbo/auto and I was at the time 18 yrs old. You can imagine the rest, I cannot count how many times that I raced (and beat) a buddy of mine with his '89 civic hatch. Truly a blast to drive, even bone stock. Needless to say after years of abuse it had gone through numerous brake jobs, head gasket and a transmission...I wonder why:dunno:

You might have better luck looking at places that offer free classifieds and of course at your local IGA / Metro on their bulletin boards, since thay are essentially good grocery getters.

In Quebec they will probably all be rust buckets therefore the US or Western Canada may be your best bet if you REALY want a clean one. You might also get lucky in a scrap yard as I am sure there are plenty.

I found the following vans in free ads...

Here is one in Manitoba

Don't know if this one is Turbo or not....

This one could almost be worth throwing on a train and shipping to Quebec as it is probably in mint condition...

I hope you find one as I would love to see one modded at Napi, it would be hilarious!!!

Thanks for the infos and yeah I know that here people won't put an ad to sell it.....I see one or 2 driving around but everytime I can't stop them because I'm always on my way to work.....One day!
