good diesel mechanic out there?

hi, i have a diesel suburban (80's) and i want to change the fuel filter and glow plugs before winter comes (will it ever this year?)

i've never worked on diesels and it seems to be a rather complicated procedure.

so... anyone out there in the know? i'm located south of downtown in pte st. charles.

Got to change the sending unit on my 90's 6.2 Diesel and with the actual temperature i don't want to leave a finger on my tank...
Also need a small check-up of the engine cause i'll have to run a lot next month and I don't want to have problems...
