do I realy need a adjustable fuel pressure regulator (aem) for my civic sir 2000 with cai, headers, exhaust, chip, vtec controler for now. project still in devolopement others mod to come
let me know

.

i strongly suggest it ! I got the B & M on my car and it's so very easy to adjust. Great mod for a great price... 175 for FPR and gauge.

are you sure this actually gives you a gain or does it just look cool to have an extra gage under your hood?

lets just say that when you do all the bolt ons and then you decide to take it to the next step (IE: cams and such) its a good thing to have around! I know that on a set up on a gen 2 teg with intake header exhaust and crower 403's with aem cam gears set at +1intake and -1 exhaust the fpr is a necesity to boost up psi from 45 to 48 psi! If you do not have it forget about thoes cams because the lumpy idle will make you bog out all the time and one of the things you need to fix it is 1) more dyno time 2)apexi-safc 3) fpr to boost up the psi of your fuel to be coming in! I mena all that extra air coming in and out you car needs the extra fuel as well!

Well said. I have mine set at 42 PSI on my Teg. Stock comes at 34-38 PSI. Great buy in my opinion ! Just not too may people do this mod as.... I don't know why.... :bigup:

tnx for the thumbs up shark! Yea I know what you mean about having to bumo up the fuel pressure! Our cars came with the best of power and fuel economy in mind! But by doing the top 3 bolt ons people increase the air velocity (not really the amount of air cause that would require porting and polishing of the head) and yet do not increase the fuel coming in!:cry:
