I've been reading alot about the Hyper Ground System..and honestly paying +150 for some wires is a bit much..anyone here have a DIY link?!?

PS:...I've already tried google..

i already seen this in a mag like Honda tuning or sport compact car, but i really doubt about the real gain of power by the ground wires...looks ridiculous

I've been reading some 5-8whp gains on Civics..I figure if I can do it myself with some decent gauge wire..why not..

my only question is the "how to"...

you guys must read all the fine print! Alot of thoes cars are not stock! The mag gets away with saying " on an otherwise stock car" however this does not mean that the only mod was the wires! I hate the way they play with words!

In reality if thoes wires really made that much power for that little $$ I dont think rmr, cammo, jspecauto, lazer ect ect could keep up witht he demand that would be out there for the wires! I mean every one and there grandfatehr would buy them at that much hp to $$ ratio!

I don't know about that...the supercharger fan is a load of crap..but the Hyper Ground system...??

Goto a welding shop. Or an audio shop. Pickup some 2awg or biger (00 awg) ... anyways, take that, and re wire from your alternator '-' to your from. from alternator '+' to battery, and battery '-' to frame all in bigger wiring.

Thats basically all this Hyper Ground thing is!

The main benefits to this "mod" are a smoother idle and better starts. Others have claimed quicker throtle response and I;ve seen dynos of 1-1.5 peak HP gain.

YOu should be able to do it yourself for about $30-40, and IMHO, a smoother idle would be worth that price alone...especially for those who have A/C or lots of stereo equipment.

For the "how to" check www.honda-tech.com and search for "ground" system or something like that. Let me know if you're gonna do it, I might be interested and we could do it together...

for the wires, just go to addison or active,I've done it to my car, didn't notice anything different

I'd be willing to do it for $30-50$...what's a little loss money for better idle...
my only question is from what do I wire it from and etc...from where to where?!
