No, I didn't finish it :p I just figured this would attract more people!

I'm actually looking for a good song to cut the video to. Something atleast 2 minutes long, doesn't have to be much longer then that, and if it is no worries, I'll cut it off where it makes sense.

To keep you guys on bay, here's a few tests I did. The last couple are just for fun, I'll actually be using the stabilization and color correction a lot, especially for Mike's video as well as the Orangeball video. I can't wait!

The pause cut at the end sounds better with bass, I just listened to it on my laptop and it sounds like shit compared to my sound system loll. And no, it's not all about the .:R's, that's actually just in the middle of the edit ;)
 
hey jon if you want help editing and putting music, i have plenty of ideas, maybe we should work together, we seem to make a good team :bigup:

Quicktime, sorry it was 5:30 in the morning and wasn't really thinking to put it in windows media as well.

Yeah, the 2nd one is my favourite too, the rotoscope was shit for what I wanted to do.

Andrew, no problem :p. I have this music guy who's sending me a good track apparently, we'll see how that works! I couldn't fit it on my laptop, damn HDV :( I would've brought my external hard drive with me on my trek to RMR and work today but didn't think of it. We can go to hookah to discuss, though :p
 
Jon, do you want to edit the video by the music, or to add the music to an already existing video montage?

with the amount of footage you got you can probably make alot of miniclips, or like at least a 10min video! lol

i think it is better to mix the video to match the music, it makes a better end product, but then again, we got som really good shots, and it will probably be good either way lol

- less then 30min of raw footage to clean 10min of video ? Hard to do...
Allthough I did not see the raw footage and can't assume so. But in General...

- I would say it's easier...not ALWAYS better... Other time it took me over 40hours to edit a 10min clip... just because I didn't have the possibility to edit BY music... i had to add/edit music considering a completed video montage :D
 
Adding music after a montage is a cunt of a job, I'd only do it if I have an artist creating a song ontop of the video, that way I keep the cutting to a certain pace. I'm cutting to music, like I posted in the other thread it's going to be a 1-3 minute thing.
 
Thanks KC, I've got a couple clean shots with your dub, too ;)

I'll try to get the best shot of everyone's car and slap a video with that!
