which is better for a 1.8t .. a short ram intake or a cai ? ... cai then i can hydro lock my shit ..but a short ram 1 will just suck hot air :run:

which is best and will get the better gains
 
from what i understand it's pretty damn hard to hydrolock a CAI. I'm pretty confident that this is what gives you the biggest gain and imo it sounds a lot better than a short ram :D
 
To blow an engine with water, you have to be dumb... First, water isn't supose to be in your ''fausse ail'' and if you blow water in your CAI, it's because you ride your car in a lot of water....man, it's not a boat !

If you are really concern about water in your engine, just buy a AEM bypass but this thing doesn't work at all...
 
Cai or short ram will give nothing but sound on a 1.8t. So go with wich ever one you like the sound best. If you're after power evomotorsport intake or stock aribox smoothened and k&n is the way to go.
