tt vs gli brake kit

i wanna up grade my brakes , are the TT and gli kits both the same ? 12.3 inches in front ? how big are rears? also which is my best bet to go with ?
 
yeah same and fronts are 12.3". rears i don't recall and they're also vented.

what brakes do you have now?
 
stop posting asking we think you should do and just change the brakes for stock. it's gonna cost you too much to upgrade anyway! and for the difference it's not worth it

It will cost him the same to buy a used kit as it would to replace all the stock parts, why would he waste his money on stock?

And if you can't put together that an upgraded brake kit WILL make a difference, then you my friend are a tool. One of the useless ones too... Lke a muffler bearing removal tool..

Firstly, do you know how much I quoted him for the parts?? Secondly, are you a mechanic? Well then. Lets put a 20th brake kit beside stock VR brakes with Hawks or PBR Ceramics and lets see who brake's better. This is tried and tested, no speculation around here. I'm simply pointing out the obvious. :squintfin
 
Regardez dans la section VW a Vendre, y veut tout acheter mais ne fais rien. Achete du stock d'origine, c'est ce qui coutera le moins chère et investit ton argent ailleur.

Well, seeing as how I just sold my MKIV VR6 and now I have a MKIV 1.8T with a TT brake upgrade, I have a PRETY GOOD IDEA of the difference. No speculation going on here.

I was simply pointing out to a good friend of mine that the upgrade was well worth his money considering the relatively insignificant difference in price. IMO anyways.

I'll make sure to advise the world that buying a TT/20AE/GLI brake upgrade is just plain silly according to Rick VR6 as a VR6 kit is the exact same thing...even though it's really not at all.

Good luck with selling your stuff man *tu*
