Engine Swap in a Accord Bay 90-96 ? H22 ?

Hi,

I have an idea and I am trying to figure what would be the best way to take !

For that project, I need to know what engine could be swapped and making a lot of power in a Accord engine bay ?

I am talking about the 90-96 one, but more specificaly the 90-93, I know that a H22 would fit in it but would that be the best way to go ? also how much power can you get out of that engine ?

I am searching for a 300-350 hp out of it ? is that possible !

1) would it be better with a H22 from japan and then modify it ?
2) is it possible to turbocharge it and get that power out of it ?
3) If you turbocharge it, is it possible to have 2 intercooler working with it ?
4) Is it possible to swap a V6 in it ? anytype of V6, honda or other ford, gm etc... doesn't matter and Turbo or Twin Turbo
5) Is it possible to have a V8 in it ?

Any information would help me ! Also the Tranny isn't a problem really, I just need an engine that would fit in it and that the tranny is a Transaxle so it could be moved around ! :rolleyes:
that's mean a engine that will do with or without mods 300+ power and a tranny to go with it ! what would be my best choice !

Get a H22a (preferrably JDM @ 200hp) and dump a turbo on it

if the money is right you can have it up to 300 hp (why not)

Do you wanna do internals too? (pistons and sh*t)

I don't know much about the v6/v8..

You might wanna ask performance garages as well

The swap will cost you around 3500k (give or take)
 
buy a mustang, it's gonna be cheaper to have 300hp with big displacement, but no daily driving i think, and no circuit racing, but some goodtimes on the ¼ track ...


but if money ain't a thang, it'S possible. Big turbo + big intercooler+ 2.2l + VTEC (tuning in consequence) = :bigup: :eek1:

I have a project man ! you have no idea what it is and I won't tell you ! :D !

what I can say is it's a mid engine and based on a corolla !


all I want is 300whp with any possible engine that would fit in a Accord Engine bay and a little bit more space.
Soo that's why my choice could be a V6, V8 or anything else ! Just that I don't know if it would fit !
I think I have the space for a long V8 block but how to really make it fit and with the ecu etc... ! :( !

Also why does my thread have been moved, cause I would have to get answer for more people then only honda/acura people, cause they might have an idea ?
is it possible to get it back in general please ?

BTW the accord gen you are aiming for are 5th and 6th gens

you can do J32A2 swap :
A J35 block with CL-S heads is the ultimate swap that will bolt into the car with the least amount of work

or you can bite Joon's mods ( check out his accord :) )

not everything is H22, you can be original with a Project, remember out of all the 5200+ members I'm the only V6 5th gen with a C27A4, I would love to hone and port but $$$$ ...

what is a J32A2 and J35 ? I don't know those engines ?

what are the spec of those and weight ? it is has simple has a H22 bolt-on ?

I would like a V6 cause It's nicer ! :D ! hehe ! :D !

une Accord avec une V6 est plus longue de 3" que la Accord avec le 4 cylindres....

je te dit ça pour t'éclaircir;)
 
un Moteur de MR2 ça fit dedans ? C'est tu stable comme moteur et assez performant ?

je veux dire ça va pas pêter en morceau et être trop dure à fitter ?
c pas un moteur de Corolla ça ?

ok le V6 yé plus long mais y fitterais tu parreil ? même si c 3 pouces g de l'espace là non ? hehe ! :D ! on alonge le frame che pas hahaha ! :D !
 
pour un moteur qui fite dans une accord, regarde pour le h23 JDM qui vient de la WAGON. Si tu vas sur le forum du club accord quebec, cherche Quickaccord93. Il a swappé l'année dernière et il en est a ces dernier setup dessus. Le moteur stock d'orrigine est de 225hp mais je ne sais pas le torque. alors tant qu'a aller adns le h22, enligne toi sur le h23 :bigup:
