Haldex Transmission: 4 Wheel to 2 Wheel drive conversion

Hi guys/gals,

I'm looking for factual answers here. Please refrain from hypotheses.


When converting a Haldex 4 wheel drive transmission to a 2 wheel drive system ( I believe what's happening is the rear is being disconnected, correct? ) are there any known issues? Is this something which is advised against?

If any of you are familiar with the pro's and con's I would love for you to chime in.

why would you want to do this? Just get another 6speeds trans!!!!
