If you're interested, come see me at popular TODAY! this car will be sold before the weekend!! There's no available Eos until 2008!! the MSRP is around 44k$ and the 48 mth lease around 820$/mth tx in.

Outch!!! Doesn't 820$/ month sounds like A LOT for a convertible Jetta???

yup it does! interest rates are high for a car that is in VERY big demand... but, btw, it is more then a cabrio Jetta! And if you compare with it's closer competitor, the Volvo C70, it's about 22K$ less...

To be honnest, I don't see HUGE differences between this car and a Jetta, unless there's something hidden somewhere that I don,t see... Maybe... Apart from the available 3.2 engine and DSG...

But if we compare two base 2.0 ... It must drive pretty much the same.

Well, it is actually more of a Cabrio Scirocco (availble only in europe). Both cars share the same plateform.

Besides the engine and tranny (that are optional on the jetta) it has nothing to do with the jetta. It is wider, lower and shorter then a jetta. The front end actually resembles more the passat. The lighting is also closer to the passat with the shape of the HIDs and LEDs rear lights... etc...

...ya there is: The Pontiac G6!!! :dunno:

:sniff: :barf:
Well put. Like it was said before the Eos offers good value if you compare it to a C70 or even an A4 Cabrio. VW seems to have really limited supply because you don't see too many around. BTW, the comment about it not being a Jetta is true, in fact VW is working on a Jetta/Golf Cabrio (not likely to come here).

...I personally think that the limited supply is in most part due to VERY high demand in USA and EUR.

Its still to much for a VW badge, it may go the way of the W8 Passat and Phaeton...........

Its nice though, and if you really wanted a hard top convertible, its hard to beat for the price....
