To take off the front Bumper, there are two methods.
Depending on what you have to get done...
If you need to take off the bumper skin to access the foam and re-bar then use this method ( take note this is the LONGER method ):
1- Take off grill ( remove 4 top screws and un clip the bottom clips )
2- Remove the 3 top bumper screws and the 5 uner bumper screws
3- Remove the 4 screws from each side holding the plastic wheel well guard ( housing linner ) to the bumper lip.
4- Disconnect all lighting equipment plugs and hernesses.
5- Push down on the bumper skin retainers that are anchored in the re-bar, under each headlight.
6- Pull off bumper skin. ( slide it out towards the front )
After this everything is plain common sense.
7- Take off bumper foam
8- Remove the 4 screws IN the re-bar.
9A- If you have an North American rad support, Take off both screws in each fender and the 2 others holding the Rad and Rad support together.
9B- If you have an Euro rad support, you need to disconnect the Rad hoses and un plug the fans as they are recessed inside the rad support. In this case you only take out both fender screws.
10- Pull off the rad support with the head lights.
Now for the shortest method:
1- Take off the dummy lenses of the bumper. If the lenses are shaved, then take the whole bumper skin off!
2- Un screw the screws holding the re-bar to the 2 frame rails.
3- Take off the the 4 bottom screws holding the Wheel housing flaps to the lip.
4- Un screw the 2 fender bolts holding the rad support.
5- Disconnect all harnesses ( and water hoses and others if using an Euro rad support )
6- Take off the whole front end in one assembly ( grill, lights, bumper skin, foam and re-bar )
PS. I have'nt done this in a while, but seems to me that is the way, I just do it by heart. Use some common sense you will figure it out!
For taking off the fenders, you have to undo all the top screws holding the fender to the under carriage. After that, you take out your wheel housings.
Once that is done prepare to curse and sware!
To give your self some room, it might be a good idea to jack up the front of the car and take off the wheel to give you more room in the arch. Obviously, you will have to remove the front end or bumper skin to acheive this task as there are 2 screws under the bumper holding the fender. There are more in the wheel well also. You will need a good knife or a cutter and a die grinder or an electric cutting disc tool. A heat gun will help, as the fender is sealed to the fire-wall and under carriage. You need to sepperate the fender in the seal, so have fun!
