live in the suburbs. the car is from St-Laurent(prestige).
the car is modded (intake,coils et)

can I choose any dealer ?

where would you go?

mais es ce que j'ai le droit de faire mon entretien ou je veux? meme si j'ai pogner le char a prestige. pas que j'aime pas prestige la, mais j'veux pas avoir de trouble avec les techs...
 
Tu peux le faire ou tu veux mais garde tes reçus car si tu n'as pas de preuve que l'entretien ce fait ça peut affecter ta garantie. Va voir www.htturbotech.com à Brossard. Dan est bon pour me dire quand je devrais aller voir le concessionnaire pour des affaires couvert par la garantie et lui fait le reste. En passant, tu as un rabais sur le maindeuvre car tu es encore membre des Dubaholics.

true that, but Im talking warranty wise.
I worked at VW man, and you know how many times they used that excuses not ot repair their car under warranty ?

Just because the guy did his own oil change and shit ...
it's bullshit, stupid but yet true.

That's no excuse to be forced to go to the dealer for maintenance. Any dealer that feeds you that BS doesn't deserve your business. Like I said before, you can do your maintenance anywhere but ensure that it probably done and that you keep your receipt if warranty issues do arise.
 
I have personally had some bad encounters at Vaudreuil. I went there based on positive feedback that i recieved but i have been disappointed with their work a couple of times.

If it's just an oil change then there isn't much to worry about. I would even check out Mr.Lube for a much lower rate. If they will be doing anything more than that i would think twice. That's just my experience though...

MR. lube will probvably be the same price anywais!

Did you tell Vaudreuil about it? BTW, I would stay away from oil changers like Mr Lube. I have read too many horror stories of guys losing their belly plate because they were a little too quick about putting it back on and screwing up.
