Hey guys!
Just got off the phone with Rombotis and Loui can't start my car before a month!!! Can't wait that long!

Do you guys know a VERY GOOD body shop that could do the work properly, I don't want to get a shitty job done but I don't know a good body shop used to working on Rabbits apart from Rombotis...

Thanx!

Why do you need a bodyshop that has experience working on Rabbits to fix a rusty floor? Any qualified bodyshop should be able to do the job. When I had my bunny I had it painted at Bouchard Autobody on St-Charles in Pierrefonds.

Because a Rabbit is a monocoque... If you just cut out the floor and weld a new one on, you'll warp the whole car. You have to reinforce the car before cutting out the floor.. There's also more than just the floor; the rust creeps up the firewall and there's a rip along the inner fender.. I know Rombotis restored A LOT of Rabbits so I had blind trust in his work... I'm kinda hoping to find someone like that..

BTW, it doesn't really need paint, at least not on the outside.. just metal work.. All th

Most cars today are monocoque. Again, any qualified bodyshop should be able to do the job. You used to be able to buy factory replacement floor and rail kits from jcwhitney.com I remember they had them back when I used to have my Rabbit. I've also had bodywork done at Automotion, I was pleased.

Ya, I bought the panels at RabbitParts.com.. Should be receiving them within a couple of weeks..

I've heard a few horror stories from floor jobs and I don't want mine to end up like that.. I'd rather pay a couple extra $ to make sure the job is well done that's all...
